Research abstract

During this program ACR will design, develop, test and demonstrate a low cost, fully autonomous, sonobuoy launched UAV with interchangeable payloads. The vehicle will meet all deployment, speed, endurance, power, fuel and range requirements set forth in the solicitation. In conjunction with that effort ACR will solve the aircraft control and deployment problems unique to this application. ACR's university partner will support the unique control and sensor needs associated with operating a UAV in this environment. The university partner will focus on the optimization of flight sensors and control surfaces in order to control and orient the UAV.
