Research abstract

The proposal outlines a method to develop innovative technologies which provide major improvements for unmanned applications. In this proposal we will describe a small, efficient and inexpensive power plant to propel miniature air vehicles (munitions) for extended periods of time. This proposal addresses and deals with a novel approach to provide a reduced mass, efficient power source for small, fixed wing, long-loiter aircraft. The design, manufacture and testing of our revolutionary patent pending fuel cell based on a flexible substrate capable of being wrapped around the outside of a UAV and utilizing nanostructured materials is described within this proposal.
