Research abstract
InterWeave is proposing to use the air-to-air advanced steering technology integration experience that it gained on its Air Slew Program and to team with Versatron to utilize its advanced patented Reaction Jet Control (RJC)/Aerofin coupling technology todevelop a Mechanically Coupled RJC/Fin Actuator Design with Thrust Magnitude Control for Tactical Missile Advanced Steering Technology that will significantly reduce the cost, weight, and volume by eliminating the RJC actuators, electronic controller, andbatteries. InterWeave is proposing to take a hard look at these technologies and their application to tactical rocket motors. We believe that added flexibility in the capability of mechanically integrating a pintle Reaction Jet Control (RJC) system withexisting missile aerofins and by combining it with a Thrust Magnitude Control Pintle through software, we can further expand air-to-air intercept capabilities beyond where existing systems can reach today. Advanced propulsion systems applicable to tactical, missile defense, and space systems.
