Research abstract

The IERUS Carbon-Carbon (C-C) material production system enables the embedding of electronic and antennas in the structure. This allows for the integration of next-generation capabilities into solutions for Navy Strategic Systems Programs. The process realized through this Phase I can be utilized for novel communications, 5G, radar, EW, and sensor systems to increase RF performance on complex geometries. The IERUS solution overcomes existing C-C material production integration challenges and is able to provide unparalleled capabilities to the U.S. Navy and DoD industrial base.Ý
