Research abstract
The objective of the proposed effort is the development of an integrated, PC based tool which addresses operational effectiveness analysis and life cycle cost and employs optimal technique algorithms to determine outcome and cost as the force mix is changed. Technomics proposes to develop a software tool that operates on a PC and that models force architectures to optimize that architecture consisting of multiple aircraft nd weapons systems and that simultaneously estimates system costs for a given set of mission requirements. The optimization technique will interface with user simulation models Tecchnomics-provided cost estimating models to derive outcomes that are optimal. The PC based integrating tool will operate with a Windows graphical user interface providing the user with the needed flexibility.
