The Mu-LV Small Vehicle Launch Vehicle

The Mu-LV Small Launch Vehicle employs hybrid propulsion technology to create a cost effective and operationally responsive system. During the proposed effort a refined system design will be completed and extensively analyzed and traded to optimize theoverall vehicle. The project ends with a static firing of a hybrid booster to demonstrate the feasibility of the technical concept. The benefits the will result from the Mu-LV Small Launch Vehicle technology project include lower launch costs and ahighly responsive operational spacelift vehicle. It is expected that the technology will be commercialized in the civilian sector.
