Research abstract

An automated viscous Cartesian grid generation method will be developed in this SBIR project to handle complex geometries. Given a well-defined geometry (e.g. in NURBS format), an advancing front (AF) algorithm will be employed to triangulate In Phase I, the above methodology will be implemented and demonstrated for relatively simple 3D geometries, such as a wing and a wing/fuselage combination. Extension to arbitrarily complex geometry, development of a solution based grid adaptor and paral
