Research abstract
The innovation of this SBIR Phase II project is the development of a new and advanced, proprietary innovation called Dynamic Constrained Resource Efficiency Optimization (DCREO). DCREO consists of optimized security and adaptive presentation methods thatwhen combined, will expend 20X fewer resources, but yet still provide highly scalable fortress-like security mechanisms and high quality profile-tailored visual-rich presentation to users carrying resource constrained mobile wireless devices (i.e., deviceswith small screens and limited CPU, battery, memory and bandwidth capacity). These optimized security and adaptive presentation methods are managed and controlled by novel proprietary DCREO functions that dynamically direct the implementation of specificsecurity and presentation techniques to most efficiently minimize the use of constrained resources while most effectively maximizing presentation speed and information assurance in light of resource availability, presentation speed needs and securityrequirements. Therefore, the objective of this Phase II project is to develop and demonstrate a new, advanced, superior dynamic wireless information assurance and adaptive processing presentation technology called Real-time Mobile-wireless VPN (RMV). RMVis based on IPSec VPNs and DCREO. The RMV product line is to be implemented as highly optimized processing and control software designed to run on server and client, general and special purpose, processors.
