Research abstract

In this Phase I project, Fermionics will produce 64x64 or 128x128 HgCdTe arrays with a wavelength of 2 microns. These arrays will be hybridized to readout digital multiplexers to be provided by Amain Electronics. In Phase II, 1.8-2.0 micron HgCdTe and InGaAs arrays with a dimension of 640x480 will be fabricated. Focal plane arrays in this dimension will be produced by hybridizing these arrays to Amain's large format digital multiplexers.
