Research abstract

Frequency agile systems are required for millimeter wave frequency hopping satellite communications for both military and commercial applications. In Phase II, we propose to take the architectures developed and demonstrated in Phase I, and transfer themto an extremely compact, integrated system. The form factor of these systems will be sufficiently compact that they can be co-located at the feed horn of the antenna of the airborne system.
