Research abstract

Virtual EM is proposing a feasibility study to investigate two manufacturing methods to use CNTs to realize antenna patterns on curved polymer shells such as pods and UAV airframes. First is an additive manufacturing technology to print CNTs on the surface of the structure while the other is to embed antenna patterns into polymer matrix just under the skin without degrading structural integrity of the polymer shell.
