Research abstract
There is a need to develop effective topical antimicrobial agents. The investigators will synthesizchelates and use these agents combined with or without other antibiotics to combat bacterial infectiof newborns and reduce morbidity and mortality in thermal injury patients. The synthetic chelates areffective bactericidal agents that possess few side effects.
