Research abstract
In the context of skeletal tissue repair, Regenerative Tissue Therapy is the local application of a(host-derived) cells to promote reconstruction of tissue defects caused by trauma, disease or surgicobjective of the Regenerative Tissue Therapy approach is to deliver high densities of repair-competesite in a format that optimizes both initial wound mechanics and eventual neotissue production. We acompany engaged in the development of cellular transplants and cell-matrix products for the treatmenbone disorders. These cellular transplants and cell-matrix products are derived from the isolation, propagation of autologous human Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), the progenitor cells which give risetissues such as cartilage, ligament, tendon and muscle. Phase I will demonstrate the efficacy of a pconcept for autologous MSC therapy in short-term rabbit temporomandibular (TMJ) disc implants.
