Research abstract

We propose to apply state-of-the-art synthesis and design technology developed at Kestrel to the problem of automatically generating easy-to-comprehend electronic technical data for use by maintenance technicians. Specifically we will automate the generation of diagrams, tables and procedures from database descriptions of the object or procedure of concern, such as an aircraft sub-assembly, or a repair procedure. We will build on or work in this area in the past, by applying new technology we have been developing for the automated synthesis of computer programs.
