Research abstract

ALPHATECH proposes to design, develop, and demonstrate an integrated multi-source sensor simulation (MS3). It will be built upon a software infrastructure specifically designed for the integration of legacy software components. ALPHATECH will exercise theproposed architecture by integrating several existing simulation components through a well defined process that will adapt them for architectural compliance. The simulation will feature the generation of sophisticated target motions, GMTI sensor reports,an integrated user interface, and(optionally) SIGINT sensor reports. The user interface will support the specification of the scenarios, control of the simulation parameters, and visualization of the results. The proposed technology will help provide theDoD a tool for developing and testing algorithms that process multi-source data. In addition, the proposed design will have commercial applicability to any system involving the simulation of heterogeneous networks of sensors
