THE PUBLIC DOMAIN MACH VERSION 3.0 WILL BE DEVELOPED INTO A COMMERCIAL OFFERING FOR THE IBM RISC SYSTEM/6000. THE EFFORT TO TARGET AN EXISTING ADA COMPILER FOR THE IBM RISC SYSTEM/6000 TO THIS VERSION OF MACH WILL BE INVESTIGATED, AND IF APPROPRIATE, PROTOTYPED. ANTICIPATED BENEFITS: THE MACH OS IS GAINING ACCEPTANCE AS A VIABLE OPERATING SYSTEM. THE COMMERCIAL USER COMMUNITY WILL MAKE MORE USE OF THIS KERNEL IF IT IS ADEQUATELY SUPPORTED.
