Research abstract

Assured Information Security, Inc. (AIS) proposes Discovering Inconsistencies and Changes for Knowledge Enrichment in Networked Semantics (DICKENS), a novel capability for the correction, curation, and quality management of knowledge graphs generated by imperfect AI/ML processing pipelines from disparate data sources. A knowledge graph (KG) is a structured way of representing information about real-world entities or concepts and their relationships. The proposed technology will support faster, more effective situational awareness, pattern of life analysis, threat detection, and targeting operations in time-constrained environments by leveraging state-of-the-art algorithms for link prediction and knowledge graph quality control to accelerate the process of correcting and curating knowledge graphs. DICKENS will provide an intuitive User Interface (UI) that enables users to interact with dynamic knowledge graphs in an efficient manner, without needing a deep technical understanding of the underlying technologies used to query, modify, or otherwise manage the knowledge graphs.
