Research abstract

A novel approach for developing prophylactic agents against ricin is proposed. During Phase I, a prototype of the proposed prophylactic will be synthesized and tested for its ability to detoxify ricin. The work aims to demonstrate feasibility of the proposed approach. It is anticipated that the proposed approach may be used to develop broad spectrum protection against toxin and biological warfare agents.
