Research abstract
Not Available Steadfast proposes to develop tactor garment technology for TSAS applications. The overall goal is to design tactor garments which extend current coverage while maintaining reliable contact with all sites on the user's skin. We will carry out this task by investigating several means of positioning tactors, including stretch materials and inflatable pannels. Prototype garments will be assembled and tested. Deliverables will include specifications, patterns, production techniques, drawings, and material and component sources. We will also provide a prototype TSAS garment for further testing and demonstration.
