Research abstract

THIS PROJECT SURVEYS 50 DISABLED PERSONS FOR WHAT INFORMATION IS NEEDED IN A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER (H.C.P.) DATA BASE. HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS INCLUDE VENDORS, AGENCIES AND INSTITUTIONS, AND REHABILITATIVE CENTERS WHICH SERVICE DISABLED PERSONS. RESPONSES TO THE SURVEY WILL HELP DETERMINE THE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF THE DATA BASE. TWENTY-FIVE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS WILL BE REQUESTED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION WHICH WILL BE USED TO MAKE A DISKETTE CONTAINING INFORMATION ABOUT EACH H.C.P.. PROGRAMS ARE WRITTEN THAT CREATE SCREENS WITH WHICH THE USER CAN INTERACT. ONE SCREEN INTRODUCES THE SYSTEM TO THE USER. ANOTHER ALLOWS THE USER TO SELECT H.C.P.'S FROM THE DISKETTE TO INCLUDE IN HIS/HER DATA BASE. ANOTHER ALLOWS THE USER TO ACCESS H.C.P. INFORMATION FROM HIS/HER DATA BASE.
