Research abstract

Under this SBIR Phase I, Pathfinder Electronics (PE) will experimentally demonstrate feasibility of a drone-lifted high-power HF and VHF antenna for Navy shipboard use. Key technical feasibility elements will be experimentally demonstrated with an early prototype UAV and base unit. The technical concept investigated in Phase I anticipates future full development of product features that will be necessary when used on forward deployed warships.
