Research abstract

The DarkStax™ platform, developed by Ad hoc Research (AHR), is designed to enhance AI resilience and transparency through scalable digital twin simulations, adaptive AI testing, and advanced cognitive agent frameworks. The platform leverages mixed-fidelity simulations and a low/no-code interface, enabling non-technical users to create complex digital twin environments for military applications, while also extending to sectors like telecommunications, finance, and healthcare. By utilizing Kubernetes-based architecture, DarkStax™ ensures seamless scaling from small-scale unit simulations to brigade-level operations, providing flexible deployment and robust performance under varying conditions. This project aims to address key challenges in AI-driven military decision-making, including adversarial attacks, AI model governance, and data integrity. DarkStax™ integrates AI algorithms to optimize AI models in real-time, allowing for continuous improvement and adaptability in dynamic environments.AHR plans to further enhance its AI testing frameworks, deepen its market penetration, and explore commercial applications, particularly in telecommunications and finance. By partnering with key industry players like Microsoft and AT&T, and leveraging government funding through SBIR Phase II, AHR is well-positioned to drive widespread adoption of DarkStax™ across multiple sectors.
