Research abstract

We propose to investigate a novel low cost, lightweight substrate for the fabrication of thin film CIGS solar cells. The substrate has the potential tomeet the specific power density and low cost goals set by various space power projects. The success of this project will have a positive impact on terrestrial markets also. The substrate has the potential to meet the specific power density and low costgoals set by various space power projects.
