Research abstract

High definition displays capable of image volume projection are required for biomedical imaging. Image Technology proposes to design and prototype a high definition image volume collimating mirror projection display. A proof-of-concept will be demonstrated. The result will be a low-cost, high fidelity optical design that can be manufactured in commercial volumes and meet the needs of defense, biomedical, and engineering applications. Anticipated Benefits: A simple optical design capable of projecting image volumes in space that can be manufactured in mass volumes for biomedical and entertainment applications.
