Research abstract

QUAL-X proposes to nondestructively inspect the extensive surface areas of aging commercial airliners for corrosion and fatigue damage. QUAL-X will characterize the above surfaces both at local and global areas of interest using chemical gas penetrants and advanced gas sensor techniques; both of which were developed as an extension of the company's unique and singular experience with the ket gas penetrant system.
