Research abstract

This project involves research and development of a means for reusing existing digital models and test vectors generated using the LASAR and HITS ATPG for digital test programs that are currently hosted on absolete and non-supported automatic test equipment. The approach identified herein promotes translation of LASAR and HITS ATPG into VXIbus-compatible instrument functions that are interoperable across a wide variety of VXI testers, independent of instrument manufacturer. The proposed technical objectives relate to the identification of digital test program and VXIbus ATE requirements, development of system requirements for the translation software, and creation of a design for the implementation of the software.
