Research abstract
Electrical stimulators are widely used in biological and medical research, diagnostics and clinicalExamples include: bone healing, wound healing, and nerve regeneration; rehabilitation medicine; funcstimulation; control of pain; neurophysiological research and diagnostics. There is no single piececover the experimental needs in all of these areas. Biomedical researchers often find themselves devstimulators or combining several pieces of various equipment, often at a great price, to obtain a seavailable in the off-the-shelf instruments, but required for a specific application. The multifuncticomponent will be developed to meet the needs of several different biomedical disciplines. It will binexpensive and provide a wide range of standard pulses and pulse sequences, as well as an ability tcustom module. It will offer low power consumption, which makes it especially appropriate for battergreater patient safety in clinical applications.
