Research abstract
The overall goals of this project are to design and develop a multimedia version of the PDQcancer information file and demonstrate its transfer on NREN, which is to be an extension of theInternet. Phase I aims are to design and develop a multimedia prototype of PDQ covering breast cancer,author the prototype with a programming language and tools that support cross platform distribution,and define specifications for an 8mm tape distribution format. Phase I deliverables will include a visualprototype, a report on the prototype, a plan for full development and implementation, and an 8mm tapewith format specifications.
