Research abstract
To address critical gaps in military drone capabilities due to electric power, Tactical Edge Systems proposes the urgent development and deployment of a Robotics Refueler utilizing hydrogen fuel. This novel system is designed to allow for market ready hydrogen drones to be used without the logistical burden of hydrogen gas thus extending the flight range of Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 UAVs by 3x-5x, drastically enhancing mission capabilities. By employing new aluminum fuel and reactor technologies to generate and compress hydrogen on-demand in a vehicle-mobile package, the Robotics Refueler offers a lightweight, portable, and efficient refueling solution that eliminates the need for traditional electrical infrastructure. This innovation ensures that UAVs can operate for extended periods without interruption, even in the most challenging environments
