Research abstract
Overworked and undermanned, Security Forces face critical security gaps and endure one of the highest suicide rates in the DAF. Three recent failures at Andrews AFB allowed an intruder to access a C-40 transport aircraft Ś an urgent wake-up call. Outdated systems like fencing and cameras are no longer enough. The Air Force must utilizeáintegrated advanced technologies that combine visual feeds with layered digital defenses, giving Security Forces the tools they need to protect critical assets and safeguard their own well-being.Capsher will give the DAF this solution.Capsherĺs solution will ôred-lineö assets in the security footage field and use computer vision (Artificial Intelligence) for real-time awareness and alerting of security breeches. This will expand the security presence without needing additional personnel and enable Security Forces to be where they are needed most.
