Research abstract

DTP Thermoelectrics has demonstrated a novel and patented approach to thermoelectric material structuring which has shown world record performance in early prototype devices. Our revolutionary technology is Distributed Transport Properties (DTP) that optimally vary the transport properties (i.e., Seebeck coefficient, electrical resistivity, and thermal conductivity) along the length of the thermoelectric elements to significantly enhance the performance of thermoelectric coolers, heaters and temperature controls.
