Research abstract

Stealth Power proposes to adapt its Clean Generator and Stealth Cube mobile power systems for the U.S. Air Forceĺs 21st Air Task Force (ATF) under the AFWERX SBIR program. These scalable systems integrate renewable solar energy, high-density NMC battery storage, and a hybrid generator, providing sustainable, resilient power for distributed operations. The Clean Generator will supply hybrid power to command centers, while the Stealth Cubeĺs modular design allows for deployment throughout the Area of Responsibility (AOR) to support remote operations. Both systems can be interconnected to form a bidirectional microgrid, enhancing energy flexibility. In Phase I, Stealth Power will work with Col Thomas Walsh, 21st ATF, and end-users from the 21st Combat Air Base Squadron (CABS) to identify operational gaps and necessary adaptations for military deployment. The objective is to modify Stealth Powerĺs commercial products to meet Air Force requirements and develop a plan for Phase II prototype trials. This project aligns with the Department of Defenseĺs goals of increasing energy efficiency, reducing fuel reliance, and improving operational resilience in contested environments. Successful completion of Phase I will set the stage for prototype testing in Air Task Force exercises and eventual deployment across the Air Forceĺs combat wings.
