Research abstract

Ferocious drone warfare in Ukraine, large-scale Iranian attacks on Israel, and disruptive Houthi strikes on Red Sea shipping all feature a new class of low-cost (less than $50K) Group 3 attack drones that allies have so far defended at a 15:1 cost disadvantage.  We need even lower-cost interceptors to neutralize this threat affordably.  Transcend’s existing flight test prototypes and experienced technical team enable us to rapidly develop a lower-cost (less than $10K) kinetic-kill air defense effector that we call Slayer. It will overturn the cost inequality, yielding a 5:1 defense cost advantage for us and our allies.In Phase I, we will collect operational input on design elements to support rapid integration and prototype testing of the capability in Phase II.
