Research abstract

Several algorithms are proposed to perform the reconstruction and display of the magnetic field lines of the distorted earth filed due to a moving armored vehicle. These algorithms address the problems of defining a "vehicle frame", stationary with respect to the vehicle, and the basic interpolation scheme of the field. test of the results will be performed using an available boudary-elements code. A detailed analysis of the sensitivity of the filed sto geometrical details of the vehicle, the practical limits of resolution and the effects of various errors due to the sampling rate and the order of approximations involved, will be performed.
