Research abstract

Yellow Rose Labs along with University of Dallas, United States Military Academy at West Point, and Infyrno propose a solid-state neutron imaging detector. The proposed solution will be uniquely suited to 1 MeV neutrons and will be tileable in order to image munition defects of any relevant geometry. The device will further provide real-time images which will allow U.S. Army Picatinny Arsenal radiographers and machine learning algorithms alike the opportunity to study defects and tailor the total exposure time while the irradiation is underway.
