Research abstract

A distributed interactive simulation will be developed that addresses shipboard medical logistics in mass casualty situations. The Scenario-based Engineering Process will be used to ensure a "best of class" technology suite is used. The simulation system will be extensible to civilian emergency medical situations as well. The system will address training, exercise planning/evaluation, assessment of current care systems and doctrinal review.
