Research abstract

The objective of this proposal is to develop robust nonlinear control design methods based on available measurements and associated computational tools with emphasis on feedback linearizable systems. A mod-follower scheme is proposed as a design method that utilizes available measurements. Feasibility of developing the necessary tools for proposed approaches will be investigated. These tools will form the basis of the next generation of Computer-Aided Control System Design environments aimed at nonlinear control system design and rapid prototyping, rather than just analysis and simulation.
