Research abstract

The future strategic objectives of the Air Force will continue to ask operators to complete more actions with smaller and more agile teams. Exoskeletons have demonstrated the potential to expand the capabilities and extend the health of airmen in previous work, however, little work has been done to validate the capabilities of systems in use. This proposal seeks to change that. This proposal will use the existing Forge platform as a foundation to pilot its use across various Air Force Service Codes (AFSC), develop and validate test protocol to assess the systems longitudinally and cross-sectionally in those use cases, and complete the most promising of those assessments.
