Research abstract
The innovation proposed by this SBIR will research and implement an integrated systems environment that addresses the technology needs of verification and validation and systems health monitoring of flight critical systems (FCS). This research will define and implement a common environment platform that provides seamless integration of current and future FCS analysis and test tools. The primary thrust of this research will be in the validation phase, supporting test preparation, real-time simulation, and real-time health and system status monitoring in flight test. This integrated systems validation environment platform will shorten the time to verify flight critical systems and will provide added safety during flight test. This effort will develop an environment that will integrate a number of current analysis tools and provide new capabilities for monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating real-time FCS data from on-board systems and real-time simulations of such systems. The Phase I effort will provide a requirement's definition prototype demonstration and a verified design for an innovative FCS validation and test monitoring work station environment. The Phase II effort will implement the environment and selected tools to provide an environment platform that will yield a quantum improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency.
