Research abstract

DSL (Dipole Source Localization) is an important advance in evoked potential research because it prinformation on the location of equivalent dipole generators within the brain, and also separates thesimultaneously-active generators. Since evoked responses are used in both research and in the diagnodisorders, improvements in analysis of evoked responses are very likely to improve their use in mediPresent DSL methods compute in homogeneous spheres, but these are known to cause errors in the resulgeneration of DSL methods will utilize multiple shells to represent the differing electrical conductand brain. However, the conductivities used are derived from research on animals, or otherwise are napplicable measurements. In this research we will test and further develop a proprietary method of dconductivity of the "shells" in each subject, so as to improve the DSL results.
