Research abstract
Statheros LLC (Statheros) proposes SIDIOUS: Synthetic Intelligence for a Dynamically Interactive Operational User Surrogate. SIDIOUS is a novel combination of multiple technologies to deliver a comprehensive autonomous radar operator capability for advanced cognitive radar Electronic Protection (EP) for modern digital radar systems. SIDIOUS will significantly reduce radar operator cognitive burden while improving radar resiliency against modern and advanced Electronic Attack (EA). SIDIOUS employs adaptive EP techniques with a Reinforcement Learning (RL) layer that learns from, improves, and automates radar operations.
