Research abstract

This effort is addressing the issues in transitioning mission-critical systems from Ada 83 to Ada 9X. The phase I effort wil produce an Ada 83 to Ada 9X conversion tool that will support the transition to Ada 9X while minimizing the change to the software. The Phase I will formulate approaches, identify techniques and specify tool support for re-engineering Ada 83 software to utilize Ada 9X language features.
