SENSORS OF INTEREST INCLUDE THE DMSP OLS, NOAA AVHRR, GOES VISSR, AND LANDSAT TM/MSS. SALIENT SENSOR CHARACTERISTICS WILL BE IDENTIFIED, SAMPLE DATA SETS SELECTED AND ACQUIRED , IMAGES INTERCOMPARED, AND TECHNIQUES DEVELOPED TO TTRANS FROM ONE DATA SOURCE TO ANOTHER.
