Research abstract

The space environment is changing, while space domain awareness systems are not.Ā Orbits are crowded with dynamic, frequently maneuvering payloads.Ā Meanwhile, systems tasked with tracking those objects are ossified and overwhelmed.Ā When a target maneuvers, sensors and C2 systems often cannot tie the observation back to the original payload, and an uncorrelated track (UCT) results.Ā In this proposal, I present SINGLETON, a novel approach to real-time maneuvering UCT resolution.Ā SINGLETON blends academic research in IOD and maneuver recovery with new GOTS tools to build tooling that will resolve the maneuvering UCT problem, be deployable on government systems, and be interoperable with legacy tools.
