Research abstract

QuSecure proposes to enhance its commercially available post-quantum cryptography and key management suite, QuProtectTM, with:Cryptographic discovery and cataloging features, andVulnerability and non-compliant algorithm detection and alerting. The technical approach is to demonstrate the “as-is” version of QuProtect at NETMODX 24 and obtain user feedback on its utility and ease of use and then iterate development of the two new enhancements and other optimization details in partnership with assigned personnel from C5ISR Center. The improved product will be demonstrated while fully integrated in an Army tactical network at NETMODX 25 (operationally relevant environment) so that QuProtect achieves a Technical Readiness Level 6 or higher. The functional attributes cited in the solicitation are shared throughout the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal/State governments, and the private sector. QuProtect is a dual-use post-quantum cryptography and key management suite that is already capable of providing significant pieces of the desired functionality (including cryptographic monitoring and policy violation alerts). The QuProtect suite uses candidate NIST quantum-resistant cryptographic Key Encapsulation Mechanisms (KEM).
