Research abstract

For the Phase I technical effort, Hyliion proposes to focus on four main topic areas for ease of maintenance, single-point connection capable, configuration management to maximize power output within the space allotted for power generation, and novel approaches for remote power generation management to meet unmanned operations. Hyliion using the core commercial modular generator set as the initial baseline can analyze, simulate, and model approaches for integration and compliance for naval unmanned vessels. Using the modular generator data collected during our commercial development, Hyliion will work with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to identify common system requirements that are being met and define requirement differences that need to be adhered to for the Naval platform the engine set will be merged with. ???????
