MUOS SATCOM Simulator

In this initiative, Team Albers, a partnership between Albers Aerospace and BCubed Engineering, is set to transform the landscape of SATCOM simulator connectivity with our groundbreaking digital IP-based framework. This innovative architecture is designed to facilitate the global, remote testing of SATCOM terminals, effectively addressing the constraints imposed by traditional simulator setups that necessitate physical proximity. By integrating cutting-edge Software-Defined Radio (SDR) technology and adhering to the VITA 49.2 standard, our approach enables a smooth, network-based integration and testing process across diverse platforms and security classifications. Our system is characterized by its openness and scalability, laying the groundwork for the next generation of SATCOM technologies. The project aims to produce a portable and adaptable testing environment, thereby significantly boosting mission readiness and operational efficiency across the board. Through this endeavor, we leverage real-world experiences and proven capabilities to deliver a solution that not only meets the current demands of the SATCOM community but also anticipates future needs, ensuring a robust and versatile framework for satellite communication innovation.
