Research abstract

BESPIN CloudOps  has evolved significantly since its inception. It started as a technology implementation effort to enable a newly established Air Force software factory to leverage cloud resources in best-practice patterns. However, it has grown to encompass a culture of data, innovation, continuous improvement, significant automation, and established standards. The CloudOps project empowers Air Force software development by providing tools, automation, and expertise to get applications to users faster. It offers a central portal for access and management (BESPIN Portal), reusable building blocks (BESPIN Shared Components), and self-service development environments (BESPIN Sandboxes). Key Features: BESPIN Portal: One-stop shop for teams to access tools, data, and documentation.Reusable Components: Streamline development with pre-built tools and services.Self-service Sandboxes: Get pre-configured development environments in minutes.DevSecOps Pipelines (BESPIN Aqueduct): Automate development and enforce security policies.Consulting Services: Training, mentorship, and co-piloting to empower teams.BESPIN CloudOps creates an agile and user-centric environment, accelerating delivery of critical applications to warfighters.
