Research abstract

Ubihere is a venture backed technology start-up, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, developing value added artificially intelligent (AI) geospatial hardware and software solutions which allow for rapid deployment of customizable value-added customer defined solutions directed to the automated generation, analysis, and reporting of actionable information.Ā The company has a proven track record of successfully transitioning innovation into solution offerings for the Army, Air Force, and commercial markets.Ā Specifically for this project, Ubihere will leverage the learnings achieved via the awarded Phase I SBIR to successfully design, develop, test, and deploy a suite of ōEdge-Based Self-Contained Artificially Intelligent Camera Solutions.öĀ The objective of the Phase II project is to provide the Army with a tiered set of cost-effective and highly capable solutions developed via a robust SWaP-C requirements and trade analysis conducted with support from our committed and engaged Army Stakeholders.Ā The project will be considered a success when Ubihere delivers multiple tiers of ready-to-manufacture Intelligent Camera solutions (called Ubivision-C) to our Army Stakeholders, and successfully demonstrates their ability to execute Army-specific applications of the computer vision software developed for this Phase II effort.Ā The project will demonstrate the varying levels of positive impact that UbihereÆs solutions can have on Army operations, efficiency, and effectiveness when utilized for their specifically designated automation activity. For this Phase II effort, Ubihere will be working with, and is supported by, the Joint Program Executive Office Armaments & Ammunition (JPEO A&A) team, located at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.Ā Specifically, Ubihere is sponsored and will be supported by Alan Santucci, A&As PMO Director for Tactical Ammunition Management and Micro-Services and Phase II committed and supportive TPOC.Ā JPEO A&A manages the research, development, production, procurement and delivery of lethal armaments and ammunition to the Joint Warfighter and is responsible for life-cycle acquisition management of conventional ammunition.Ā This Phase II project will focus on the development and demonstration of the tiered capabilities of the Ubivision-C solutions as they are specifically applied to the ArmyÆs effort to modernize ¢ through the integration of automation and artificial intelligence systems ¢ their automated logistics, transfer, and resupply efforts.Ā Working with our Army supporters, Ubihere will ensure the Ubivision-C systems support known automation challenges across the Army, starting with JPEO A&A.Ā
