Research abstract

NT Concepts proposes a solution provide highly synchronized mission operations andĀsustainment logistics activities between strategic, operational, and tactical echelons. It augments the Army Tactical Data Platform (TDP) capability with AI software agents to solve the challenges of siloed data and automate roles of Logisticians to turn data into knowledge and provided predictive sustainment to the warfighter. The solution solves the Army's five areas of improvement for includingĀAutomated Transformation of Data to Knowledge, Knowledge-Level Representation of Tactical Situational Awareness with embedded meaning, Representing and Continuously Reasoning over Plans, Space, Time, and Entity State,ĀSituational pattern recognition and model projection for automated detection of potentially impacting Patterns/events, and Bridging Knowledge between Operations and Logistics to ensure synchronized and orchestrated awareness and unity of effort.ĀWe discuss the historic Army sustainment systems and the current Army modernization initiatives for operations and logistics. We discuss the data challenge and how we have automated the transformation of data into knowledge using our open-source modular data analytics platform, NT StudioDX, and meet the scientific feasibility for Direct to Phase II SBIR through our work on threeĀfederal Cooperative Research & Development Agreements (CRADAs). Our solutions leverages the Equitus Open Data Fabric (ODF) to automatically ingest and process data. We deep-dive into our lessons learned from our various commercial project, federal CRADAs, and relevance to the Army five improvement areas in developing innovative AI/ML software to reduce cognitive burden and coordinate operations and logistics.Ā
